“With Everjonge Homes, as part of a collective group of supporters, we’re not just repairing homes. We’re restoring hope and building stronger, more resilient communities,” said Fiona Coughlin, Habitat Windsor-Essex executive director and CEO.
“Together, we can ensure that everyone in Windsor and Essex County has access to safe and affordable housing.”
Habitat launched the Repair Revolution program in July in partnership with the Windsor Essex Community Housing Corporation. Using a large van fully stocked with tools, the organization is working to repair Windsor’s affordable housing stock amid high costs and high demand for professional repair work.
“Together, we can magnify our impact and accelerate the pace at which we can provide safe, decent, and affordable housing to those who need it most,” said Ron Dejonge, owner of Everjonge Homes.
“Imagine the possibilities as more businesses and individuals in our community rally behind the Repair Revolution. Imagine how many lives we could touch, how many neighbourhoods we could transform, and how much hope we could inspire.
